Welcome to Truro, the "Hub of Nova Scotia", and a major railroad town since 1858.

While in town, pay a visit to the beautiful 1,000 acre Victoria Park with waterfalls, then swing by the White Schoolhouse Museum. For entertainment, you can take in the
Hubtown Theatre, or catch a few horseraces at the N.S. P. E. Raceway. Afterwards, venture on to Schubenacadie, with its famous Tidal Bore, Canal, and Wildlife Park. Don't miss the Lawrence House Museum in Maitland, a village which features nearly 50 beautiful 19th century homes.
