Contacting NS Online

How to:

Getting additional info on Nova Scotia

NS Online is a privately maintained, mostly volunteer effort, and as such we don't have the resources of information that government or tourism industry sites have. However, we CAN point you to sources of additional information that will give you very good chances of getting the info you're looking for.

The #1 source of information on Nova Scotia events, attractions, lodging, museums, and other vacation and travel information is the provincial government's Toll Free Tourism Information Hotline 1-800-565-0000.   If you live in a country that doesn't have access to this toll free cover.jpg (2814 bytes)number, the Tourism Info email address is siscoeve@gov.ns.ca. You can also reach them by fax at 1-902-424-2668.

The Tourism dept. also publishes a 300+ page guide to Nova Scotia, called the Doers and Dreamers Guide, which can be ordered online.

If you are looking for non-travel related information (statistics, geographical or cultural information, etc.), we'd like to suggest going to the NS Government site, and finding an email contact for the government department which most closely deal with the subject matter you're looking for.
